A Trusted Partnership
E-DEN partnered with NEXT across three of their core functions. Each area had its own priorities, audiences and pressures, yet the requirement remained consistent: create learning that was clear, practical and easy for colleagues to use.
Across a 12 to 16 month period, we worked with Product Learning and Development, Talent and Leadership Learning and Development and Information Security to shift their learning approach towards a more blended style.
We introduced self-paced digital learning, creating opportunities for learners to explore content in their own time and breaking complex subjects into formats that supported day-to-day work. The result was a more modern, flexible experience that gave teams content they could rely on and learners practical tools.
Immediate Impact
Faster Rollout
Breaking content into smaller, reusable components allowed NEXT to publish updates quickly and align learning across teams without rebuilding from scratch.
Learner Autonomy
Replacing long decks with interactive, self-paced learning gave colleagues more control and made it easier for them to explore topics at their own pace.
Complex to Clarity
E-DEN simplified detailed processes and behaviours into plain language, improving understanding and making content easier to use day to day.
Product Learning & Development
The Challenge
The Product L&D team wanted to transition some of their face-to-face content to a blended approach for their 12 month Academy Programme. The change to the learner experience was supported by the launch of their Thrive Learning Experience Platform (LXP).
The challenge was to make complex product content more accessible and engaging for learners while reducing time spent on classroom delivery without losing depth or quality. Providing learners with earlier access to critical information which will reduce the time for them to be effective in their roles.
What We Delivered
A blended Product learning solution that reduced reliance on classroom delivery and made time with instructors more valuable.
Digital content that allowed learners to build knowledge in advance, supporting consistent delivery across cohorts without increasing delivery effort.
Modern, plain-language learning that simplified complex product processes and improved accessibility for newer product teams.
The Result
Product learning shifted to a blended model that reduced reliance on instructor-led delivery. Learners arrived at sessions better prepared, allowing instructors to focus on discussion, application and decision-making rather than explanation. The approach became a repeatable blueprint for future Product training at NEXT.
Talent & Leadership Development
The Challenge
The Talent and Leadership L&D team needed to modernise how behavioural and leadership topics were delivered. Existing approaches relied heavily on workshops, which limited reach and flexibility. The challenge was to introduce learning that supported leaders before, during and after live sessions, without increasing time away from the role.
What We Delivered
Digital learning that prepared leaders in advance and reinforced learning afterwards, improving the impact of live sessions.
Scenario-led content designed to move leaders from theory to practical application.
A consistent digital approach that supported negotiation, multigenerational working and leadership behaviours at scale.
The Result
Leadership learning moved towards a blended model that balanced digital and live delivery. Leaders were better prepared for workshops, discussions became more focused and time with facilitators was used more effectively. The approach created greater consistency while giving learners flexibility in how and when they engaged.
Information Security Team
The Challenge
Following several high-profile cyber attacks on UK retailers, the Information Security team wanted to take a proactive approach to preparing colleagues at NEXT to keep the business and their data secure.
The challenge was to build awareness and readiness across the organisation, ensuring learners understood how to recognise risks and respond effectively to a potential cyber incident, without relying on traditional, low-engagement mandatory training.
What We Delivered
A series of short animations, designed to support annual awareness campaigns and keep cyber security front of mind across the organisation.
Animation-led storytelling that simplified technical risks into practical, real-world behaviours colleagues could recognise and act on.
A consistent visual style and tone of voice that built recognition, trust and engagement, allowing us to create a brand for our content.
The Result
NEXT moved from one-off awareness content to a recognisable series of short animations that made cyber security feel familiar and easy to engage with. The consistent style and tone improved recognition across campaigns, helped key messages land faster, and made it easier for colleagues to remember what to do when risks appeared in real situations.
This approach created a repeatable awareness model that could be refreshed year after year without rebuilding from scratch, giving the Information Security team a scalable way to keep cyber security front of mind across the organisation.
